Why join SFA? I joined SFA to learn more about the careers available to finance majors and also for the unbelievable networking opportunities. Additionally, I thought SFA was a great environment to get to know the faculty and other finance students.

Why join SFA? SFA is a great organization that offers countless opportunities to meet future employers and network with successful people in the world of finance. Being a member also allows you to meet other finance students and get to know the faculty of the university. Most importantly, it's just a really fun group of people and an easy way to get involved.
Nicholas Sutcliffe

Future plans: A career in international relations, foreign trade, or diplomacy, then eventually start my own business.

Jacob Houston
Hometown: Tribune, KS
Majors: Finance & Accounting

Expected Graduation: May 2008
Future Plans: Work in an investment bank or other firm on the sell side for a few years preferably on Wall Street before going back to attain my MBA then hopefully working in a firm on the buy side maybe in private equity or a hedge fund. Eventually I would like to own my own business or at least be CEO of one.
Why join SFA? To be able to network with current and future leaders with various financial backgrounds while at the same time, also having fun and learning more about finance in general.

How do I get involved?

SFA is open to all K-State students. To become a member, students must complete the membership application and pay dues of $25/semester or $40/year.
