SFA students, alumni, and faculty are all invited to our tailgate before the KSU v. Mizzou game. It will be held at the Cat Town Tailgate area from 9:30-11:30am. Food and drinks will be provided to our members for just $5.

We had a great turnout for our first meeting of the school year in the Big XII Room after a social in the Cats Pause Room. We were lucky to have our distinguished faculty there to introduce themselves to the members and to share their words of wisdom. Laura Needs from Career & Employment Services also joined us to give us tips on how to market ourselves for the upcoming career fair. The officers introduced themselves to the members and we closed the meeting by talking about the exciting events to come this semester.

We were pleased to have Jonathan Bauman, Client Portfolio Manager of American Century and President of the Kansas City CFA Society, back again with us to talk about the CFA and how important it has become these days. We had a great discussion over the benefits of being a CFA charterholder and how to best prepare yourself for the exams.
